A model of Bucentaur, the ceremonial barge of the doges of Venice.
During the history of Venetian republic, there were four "bucintoros" built. This is the model of the last one built in 1727. Napoleon had ordered to destroy the boat after he conquered Venice. To carry out the gold from the boat, the French needed 40 mules. The model was built in the early 19th century before the original boat was completely destroyed.
