Solar Eclipse
Once again, I traveled across multiple U.S. states (namely - New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and backthe reverse order) to eye witness this amazing, beautiful, and rare heavenly spectacle.

Solar corona showing during the total eclipse of the sun. I think this photo that I took is quite good.
Selfie with the eclipsed sun. Sun is the small hollow light, the bigger lights are the street lamps that went on because of the darkness caused by the moon shadow. There were even stars visible on the sky during the totality (but the one on this picture is most likely the planet Venus)
This is an interesting picture - not taken by myself, unlike the rest in this album :-) It shows the Moon shadow as could be seen from ISS

On the way home, I spent 26 hours in my car - mostly driving, mostly snail paced - plus two short breaks for nap
